3 rd Shift Sanitation Full-time

Hourly Clean-up Production Hours: 3RD SHIFT

JBS Worthington Pork Plant if hiring for quality, motivated people to join the JBS sanitation team as general laborers. The positions include but are not limited to the following duties:

Responsibilities

• To clean and sanitize machinery and floors in a production line setting
• Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around assigned area
• Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies
• Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas
• Operate heavy equipment
• Expect to work hands on at high speed and times to life over 50 pounds
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard
• Performs other duties as needed or as assigned

Functional Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs on occasion
• Ability to walk up 4 - 8 hours' daily
• Ability to stoop and bend at the waist on occasion
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively

Work Conditions

• Must be able to work in a cold, damp, and hot environment
• Production and maintenance settings
• Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise

Qualifications

• Strong desire to work hands-on work environment
• Good attendance and safety records
• Must be 18 years of age or older
