About the Company:

We are a family-owned residential electrical contractor employing approximately 145 team members and serving clients across North and South Carolina.

About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations. This position reports directly to executive leadership and plays a key role in financial management, office oversight, and internal support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal staff needing assistance
• Oversee office staff and ensure smooth administrative operations
• Support HR functions including basic payroll and insurance administration
• Manage vehicle tags, licensing, and tax matters for company-owned and leased vehicles
• Assist with workers’ compensation and retirement plan administration

Qualifications:

• College degree required; major in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software
• Proven background in financial reporting, payables, and receivables
• Familiarity with HR, insurance, and payroll functions is a strong plus
• Workers’ compensation experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of 401(k) or other retirement plans
• Strong problem-solving and people management skills
• Experience in companies with 50+ employees is a plus, but not required
