Description

Under close supervision of an Administrative Analyst 4 or other supervisor in a state department, institution, or agency, assists as part of a team or task force in the review, analysis, and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization, and performance, and helps prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions; does other related duties as required.

Specific to the Position

The candidate will support the research and identification of data gaps within the Green Acres database. The individual must seek opportunities to improve processes and communication to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. The missing information pertains to real estate deeds. Based on limited database data, the candidate will search for deeds on county websites and in archive boxes. The retrieved data will then be used to populate the data gaps in the database.

Preferred Skill Set

Preference will go to applicants who show a high attention to detail and are self-starters that can take direction while remembering instructions. Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to create and use filters, pivot tables, and conditional formatting. Familiarity with data entry software or CRM systems to efficiently input and manage large volumes of information, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the database. Skilled at efficiently locating and retrieving specific records from large-scale web-based data sources.

Requirements

Five (5) years of professional experience involving the review, analysis, and evaluation of budget, organization, administrative practices, operational methods, management operations, or data processing applications, or any combination thereof, which shall have included responsibility for recommendation, planning, and/or implementation of improvements in a business or government agency.

OR

Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and one (1) year of the above-mentioned professional experience.

License

Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
