Job Title: AI Linguist

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, CA — Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mandatory.

Position Summary:

We are seeking AI Linguists to join a diverse, interdisciplinary team focused on AI quality, evaluation, and annotation. The role contributes to developing and improving human judgment and annotation pipelines that support AI model training and evaluation.
This position involves collaboration with AI Engineers and Linguists to enhance model accuracy, content relevance, and overall, AI performance through high-quality linguistic data and analysis.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement solutions for AI quality, evaluation, and annotation.
Leverage generative AI prompting, human input, and hybrid approaches to develop scalable, high-quality human judgment workflows.
Conduct data-driven linguistic analyses to inform project development.
Participate in working groups to design and improve human judgment, annotation, and evaluation pipelines.
Research and propose new methodologies for process and product improvement.
Improve productivity, efficiency, and quality through workflow optimization and documentation.
Perform continuous evaluations of AI products and report findings.

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of relevant industry experience.
2+ years of experience with large-scale human judgment workflows and tools for AI model training/evaluation.
2+ years of experience translating linguistic data requirements into clear instructions and workflow designs.
Proficiency in Python (intermediate level or higher).
