Overview:

This role involves assisting with veterinary clinical trials, maintaining equipment, preparing study materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. A commitment to animal welfare and attention to detail is essential.

Previous experience in research animal care, particularly with poultry or swine, is preferred.

Job Details:

Job type: permanent (direct-hire)

Pay rate: $20/hour

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for feeding, monitoring, and cleaning animal habitats, as well as assisting with animal trials in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

You will also operate and maintain equipment, organize materials for trials, and ensure proper documentation.

Additionally, you will maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), USDA, and company guidelines.

Prioritizing animal welfare and adhering to safety protocols is also a key part of this role.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Science-related degree is preferred.

Previous experience in animal care, particularly with poultry or swine, is preferred.

Basic computer skills, the ability to pass background checks, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record are also necessary.
