Job Summary/Basic Functions
The University Club Events Assistant is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of conferences, events, and other programs held at the University Club. University Club Events Assistant assists in oversight and professional expertise in all event planning details including contract development, coordination of risk management & legal procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Highschool Diploma is required.
A degree in Hospitality Management, Public Relations, Communications, or another event management field is preferred.
Experience: Experience must include large event planning and knowledge of collegiate event scheduling software.

Job Duties:
* 50% - Works with Internal/External Organizations to facilitate space and coordinate conferences and events administered at the Univeristy Club at Arlington. - (Essential)
* 40% - Assists in the coordination of event logistics for conferences and events administered at Eastern Kentucky University. - (Essential)
* 10% - Ensures the effective operations of the University Club by completing other duties as assigned. - (Essential)
