Job Description
Job Title: Art Conservator
Place of Performance: Denver, Colorado
Duties:
- The objects are to be safely moved to the designated preservation site and protective covers are to be removed where applicable.
- Objects shall be free from dust, dirt, grime, detritus, and any other foreign object(s).
- Damages should be repaired and/or minimized.
- Stabilize the structure of the models.
- Objects are to be protected from exposure to damaging elements and unauthorized access.
Requirement:
- Master's degree in conservation.
- Previous experience in similar position (No less than 3 years).
- Knowledge of art restoration and preservation techniques.
- Ability to develop and maintain processes for handling artwork
