Job Title: E/M Assembler (Soldering)

Location: Pocasset, MA

Department: Manufacturing / Production

25-38 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled E/M Assembler with hands-on soldering experience to assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies used in advanced underwater and marine systems. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and experienced in reading technical documentation and performing precision soldering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to drawings, work instructions, and specifications
• Perform hand soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components to IPC standards
• Wire, route, and terminate cables and harnesses
• Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively
• Inspect own work for quality, workmanship, and compliance with engineering requirements
• Identify and report assembly issues, defects, or process improvements
• Perform rework and repair as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
• Proven experience with hand soldering (through-hole and SMT preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
