Job Title: Associate Director of Nursing (House Coverage)

Location: Brooklyn, NY 11213

Shift: 8 Hours shift, Rotational, Evening, Night and Day (Alternative Weekends)

Duration: 03 Months with high possibility of extension

Pay Range: $70 to $80/Hour.

Job Description and Duties:

Assumes shift responsibility for overall patient care, clinical management, and quality management on the unit.

Ensures compliance with regulatory standards (CMS, IHI, CAP) and develops quality/performance improvement programs.

Prepares and monitors personnel, supply, and equipment budgets, ensuring adequate staffing and monitoring operational performance metrics.

Collaborates with the CNO to establish nursing care standards, maintains a safe and culturally sensitive patient care environment, and facilitates support services.

Participates in the planning process for the unit and service, using patient and staff satisfaction surveys to establish customer service and recruitment agendas.

Educates and evaluates staff on new and existing procedures, provides opportunities for growth, and establishes unit metrics to measure retention strategy effectiveness.

Required Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience including previous supervisory experience.

Demonstrated leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, required.

Other Requirements:

Must have acute care experience .

This requirement is for the House Coverage.

Education:

Master’s degree in nursing is required

Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
