Nexus Therapy is now hiring for a full-time Registered Behavior Technician position for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position pays $32 per hour as a 1099 for the rest of 2024 and $29 per hour as a W2 employee, starting January 1, 2025, with up to 7.5 hours per full day worked (37.5 for the full work week)! You would be working on-site with a great, supportive district near lovely Sandown, New Hampshire. The hours are from 8:00-4:00 with a half hour unpaid lunch. BCBA supervision will be provided. Must be licensed as a RBT in the state of New Hampshire.

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred. Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
