Position: Behavioral Health Technician

Location: Richmond, VA

Shift Available:

• Full-Time (40 hours per week)
• 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM, with rotating weekends

As a Behavioral Health Technician , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of female clients while helping them navigate their treatment plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide support in both clinical and daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assist clients with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, and meal coordination.
• Greet clients upon their arrival for treatment, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation to track client progress.
• Assist with facilitating group activities, providing support and encouragement.
• Coordinate with the treatment team to assist in patient discharges.
• Promote and encourage clients to adhere to their treatment and behavioral health goals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, or a related field.
• Eligibility to obtain a QMHP-T certification.
• Preferred: QMHP-T/A/C certification.
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals who have mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or in group facilitation.
• Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic computer skills.

Pay Rate:

• $23.31 per hour
