Job Responsibilities
- Operate company vehicles to pick up and deliver products to various locations within the designated area.
- Ensure you're route is timely and accurate.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
- Verify delivery information and ensure the accuracy of orders.
- Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Complete delivery logs and reports as required.
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays promptly to the dispatch team.
- Assist in warehouse duties as needed when not on deliveries.
Job Requirements for Local Delivery Driver
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a 20' box truck or bigger.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles
- Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation details: 19-23 Hourly Wage
