We are currently seeking a licensed Building Inspector and Plans Examiner to join a dynamic team and contribute to continued success.

Position Overview:

As a Building Inspector and Plans Examiner, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with Florida building codes and regulations. You will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, conducting field inspections, and collaborating with project teams to uphold safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review architectural, engineering, and building plans for compliance with applicable codes and ordinances.
• Conduct on-site inspections of new and existing commercial construction.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation of inspections and plan reviews.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, architects, engineers, and municipal officials.
• Stay current with changes in building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida licenses as a Building Inspector and Plans Examiner (required).
• Certified General Contractor, Architect, or Engineer in the State of Florida.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building inspection and plan review.
• Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code and related regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency with inspection software and digital plan review tools is a plus.
