Job Description

The Staff Pad is seeking a Building Inspector for a construction company in Dallas, Texas. As a Building Inspector, you will determine the structural soundness of buildings and construction projects. You will be tasked with inspecting and assessing the structural quality of a building and ensuring compliance with national building codes, and engineer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Review building plans
• Perform building inspections to ensure buildings match the plan and meet code requirements
• Input reports, with appropriate photos and detailed notes
• Check reports for accuracy prior to submission and ensure all reports submitted daily
• Maintain a positive working environment with co-workers
• Provide excellent customer service to builders and engineers
• Obtain Residential Combo Inspector license, if does not previously have
• Maintain licenses and CEU’s
• Maintain company vehicle per the company handbook (if applicable)
• Adhere to all policies and procedures of company
