C++ Developer – High-Speed Trading Systems | Proprietary Trading Firms

Location: Chicago, Illinois

Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 (Total Compensation up to $250,000+)

We are currently seeking skilled C++ Developers to join multiple proprietary trading firms in Chicago, Illinois. You will be working on high-speed trading systems, building and optimizing solutions to enhance performance and speed. The ideal candidate will have experience in C++, Linux, and trading systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, and effectively maintain, reusable, and high-performance C++ code on a Linux platform
• Develop and optimize trading systems to maximize performance and speed
• Work in a high-performance environment with real-time data processing
• Collaborate with other developers and teams to deliver innovative solutions

Requirements:

• Strong experience with hands-on C++ experience
• Strong Linux/Unix exposure and command-line proficiency
• Background in trading systems or high-frequency trading (HFT) is a plus
• Proven track record of building high-performance systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $125,000 - $180,000
• Total Compensation: up to $250,000+
