Title: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Strong Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 10*4; Primarily Days with some late night (evenings) and on call/call per unit needs
Pay Range: $75 to $80/hr.
Job Description:
- Cardiac Cath/EP Lab Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
- Also known as Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) , certified technicians who assist with invasive cardiac procedures).
- FT positions available, primarily days with late requirements and on call requirements, 10-hour shifts.
- The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) will prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- They must be able to anticipate equipment required during procedures, operate equipment, and maintain sterile instruments.
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) ‘s will be required to function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor.
- Good organizational skills are a must. Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824.
Requirements:
- BLS
- Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever.
- Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo
- Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty.
- Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required.
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT)
