What You Will Be Doing

• Coordinate and book catering and mobile events, ensuring details are captured and executed flawlessly.
• Assist in daily kitchen prep and meal preparation - must be comfortable in a commercial kitchen setting.
• Follow standardized recipes and maintain consistency in food quality.
• Utilize computer software for scheduling, invoicing, event planning and communications.
• Support the marketing and promotion of the storefront through social media and other channels.
• Be a self-starter who can manage tasks independently and proactively solve problems.
• Provide general assistance to the owner with daily business operations.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Managing or overseeing large-scale business finances.
• Handling major kitchen equipment repairs or installations.
• Providing full customer support for non-catering-related inquiries.
• Managing or overseeing employee training or HR functions.

Basic Requirements

• Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic computer programs (Google Workspace, POS systems, event software, etc.)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Experience with event coordination or marketing is a plus.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
