Medical Assistant II - Integrated Health Services

Location: Richmond, VA

Contract Duration: 6 months

Pay Rate: $15.86/hr - $28.97/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nursing Assistant II to join our Integrated Health Services team at DuPont Specialty Products USA, LLC in Richmond, VA. This contract position involves providing comprehensive medical and administrative support within a dynamic medical clinic environment. The ideal candidate will have relevant medical assistant certifications and experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Medical Clinic Responsibilities:

  • Perform surveillance exams including hearing conservation, respirator, ERT, and thermal stress.
  • Operate equipment and perform testing as needed; assist with case management including scheduling, tracking, and documenting employee interactions.
  • Prepare and room patients, take vital signs, administer immunizations, perform phlebotomy, drug/alcohol testing, COVID testing, and other required tests.
  • Document all medical interactions in the EMR system; support immunization clinics, health fairs, and wellness events.
  • Assist with medical care, emergencies, and medical treatments as required.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Schedule medical appointments, answer calls, and manage medical requests.
  • Track and understand components of surveillance and employment exams; arrange meetings and handle documentation.
  • Manage clinic supplies and equipment, perform QC testing, and ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards.
  • Facilitate communication and documentation between various parties; handle vendor accounts and payments.

Corporate Administrative Support:

  • Support corporate programs/projects including data collection, account setup, and meeting arrangements.
  • Assist remote sites with administrative clinic support and perform other tasks as directed by the Global Medical Leader.

Qualifications:

  • MA Certification: Required
  • BLS Certification: Required
  • CAOHC Certification: Preferred
  • BAT Training: Preferred
  • NIOSH Certification: Preferred
  • Drug & Alcohol Collection Experience: Preferred

  • Strong clinical and administrative skills with the ability to perform a wide range of medical and support tasks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and medical documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively with medical providers and manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
