Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - 13-Week Contract | Chicago, IL | Up to $24/Hour
We are currently hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a 13-week contract in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time position offering 40 hours per week in a supportive clinical environment. If you're dependable, compassionate, and ready to hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you!
Position Details:
Location: Chicago, IL
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Pay: Up to $24.00/hour (based on experience)
Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Responsibilities:
Room patients and take vital signs
Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab tests as needed
Administer medications and vaccinations under provider supervision
Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)
Ensure patient comfort and excellent customer service
Support front desk as needed (scheduling, patient check-in/out)
Requirements:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) required
1+ year of recent experience in a clinical setting preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bilingual in English/Spanish is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
