Job Title: Chemical Operator (Multiple Shifts Available)

Location: Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm (plus $1 shift differential)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am (plus $1.20 shift differential)

Hourly Rate: $19.50/hr during temporary period

Position Summary: We are currently seeking dedicated Chemical Operators to join our team across multiple shifts. As a Chemical Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating various machines and equipment involved in chemical production. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality products.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensure products are manufactured and packaged according to customer specifications.
• Inspect and set up equipment before use; perform basic maintenance and adjustments as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency in chemical blending techniques and equipment operation.
• Follow detailed procedures to ensure the safe and efficient production of quality products.
• Weigh raw materials and accurately mix them according to batch instructions.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of production batches.
• Package finished products for shipment, including boxing and labeling.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Education & Work Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing; chemical manufacturing experience preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training as necessary.

Qualifications & Competency Requirements:

• Ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 55 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation.
• Proficient in basic math and mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting.
• Ability to multitask effectively and maintain attention to detail.
