Job Description
We are a growing Civil Construction Company looking to bring on an Project Engineer to join our team. We are looking for someone with 10+ years of experience.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience
- Must have your P.E. license
- Previous civil engineering design
- Previous project experience - School Districts, water and fire districts (Roadways, sewer systems, storm drainage)
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and thoroughly understand all bid documents
Responsibilities:
- Prepare work assignments according to capability to ensure preparation of bids in a timely manner
- Review's data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized material labor and equipment take off lists
- Compute's cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, selecting vendors or subcontractors, and determining cost effectiveness
