Job Title: Class B CDL Delivery Driver (Propane/HAZMAT)
Reports to: CSC Manager/Distribution Mgr.
Department: Field Operations

CDL Class B Propane Delivery Driver (Local Route) NEW GRADS Welcomed!
Deliver fuel to customers in accordance with company standards while maintaining the professional and positive image of our client to foster customer satisfaction, repeat business and referrals. Maintain vehicle and appropriate documentation.

Primary Accountabilities
• Ensure that Company and government safety, policy and regulatory standards are met at all times and maintain zero preventable accidents.
• Apply safe fuel handling practices and comply with safety regulations in the event of a spill or overfill.
• Take immediate containment action and report all environmental exposure and related incidents to supervisor.
• Maintain safety and compliance records.
• Maintain delivery vehicle.
• Review maintenance record, perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Report all vehicle conditions requiring attention for continued safe operation and proper vehicle maintenance.
• Operate delivery vehicle in accordance with Company and government regulations.
• Follow dispatch policy, plan and procedures.
• Coordinate with dispatcher to confirm route and ensure adequate fuel.
• Deliver fuel.
• Conduct tank or cylinder inspections, fill storage containers.
• Follow loading and unloading procedures.
• Meet established performance standard metrics such as gallons/stops/loading/miles driven per day, percent of productive time.
• Maintain professional image and respectful relations with customers and the general public at all times.
• Provide superior customer service, strive to maintain zero driver related customer complaints.
• Develop and supply sales leads.
• Monitor competitor accounts and upsell.
• Account for funds and inventory.
• Operate handheld terminal.
• Maintain trip report, document meter and odometer readings and related information.
• Refill truck at end of shift.
• Secure truck and equipment consistent with security policy.
• Follows company procedures and guidelines to perform most job functions.
• Uses discretion to resolve unforeseen problems related to fuel delivery.
• Notifies supervisor of any issues that might impact safety, customer satisfaction, productivity, and other established goals and standards.
Supervision
Works independently much of the time with support and oversight from manager

Education, Certifications, Specialized Training
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent training and experience.
• Must have CDL Class B with X endorsements and meet applicable state and federal licensing and certification requirements.
• Must also complete required job training for drivers as outlined in New Hire Protocols, NORA and NPGA CETP programs

Functional/Technical Knowledge
• Familiar with fuel delivery concepts, practices and procedures including related government regulations.
