Clinical Outsourcing Specialist (Contract) – Foster City, CA

A global company is looking to hire their first U.S. Clinical Outsourcing Specialist to support vendor oversight and contract activities for clinical trials. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and make an immediate impact.

Location: Foster City, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Contract: 3–4 months to start

Start Date: September / October 2025

Responsibilities

• Support contract negotiation and execution (MSAs, SOWs, Work Orders).
• Manage vendor issue logs, escalate recurring concerns, and support governance meetings.
• Assist with financial oversight and analysis of outsourcing spend.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, Data Management, and Lab teams.
• Partner with a broad network of clinical vendors and CROs.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in clinical outsourcing, vendor management, or site contracting.
• Strong understanding of the clinical trial environment (CROs, IRT, eCOA vendors, etc.).
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible, collaborative, and open to learning.
• Experience with contracting systems or Veeva Vault is helpful but not required.
