Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is looking for a Pharmacist. For a Temp-to-hire with one of our clients in the East Berlin, CT area.

Essential Functions:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring workflow, production quotas, and deadlines are met
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
• Supervise pharmacy staff for accurate order entry, workflow, and security
• Verify completeness and accuracy of medication labels and orders
• Prepare and/or supervise sterile IV drug products
• Manage controlled substances, including ordering, handling, and inventory
• Provide coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school
• Current Connecticut pharmacy license
• Proficient in clinical interpretation (drug interactions, allergies, etc.)
• Accurate and efficient in dispensing medications
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds

Schedule:

• 3:30 pm - midnight, with every other weekend 7 am - 6 pm
