Job Description

Hobson Prior is seeking a dedicated Research Nurse to work closely with the lead researcher to ensure research studies are conducted smoothly and in line with guidelines. You will help recruit participants, provide them with information and support, and ensure all procedures are followed correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical assessments of patients as needed.
• Identify and recruit suitable participants for research studies.
• Provide emotional and educational support to participants and their families.
• Review medical records and lab results, and report any issues.
• Ensure all necessary evaluations and procedures are completed before starting treatment.
• Assist in the informed consent process.
• Handle patient inquiries and direct them to appropriate care.
• Document patient progress throughout the study.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement programs.
• Help coordinate research-related activities, including site visits and budget monitoring.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Nursing degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Registered Nurse license in Michigan.
• Basic computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS may be required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
