Computer Operator Location Columbus, OH (Easton area) :

Summary:

Computer Operators work under direct supervision, assists in performing routine tasks associated with operating a computer. Work hours are Mon-Fri 12pm-8:30pm Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepares, submits, prints, quality checks, monitors and reviews all output processed through the Print Center and Data Control environment.
• Prints required reports, validates quality of all output. Ensures proper routing on all output. Responds to routine inquiries and problems in a timely manner.
• Escalates issues to Management. Monitors, records and reports any peripheral equipment failures.
• Maintains inventory of consumable operational supplies. Maintains daily output logs, printer logs and Data Control audit logs.
• Attends in-house training sessions and meetings. Ensures the environment is in tour ready state at all times.
• Ability to work altered shift schedules, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• 0-1 year of work experience in a large print environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

• Machine experience preferred
• Experience in the banking industry or in health care preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently
