Our client is a construction firm with a proven growth track record and a stable background. They are looking to add a
Construction Accountant to their growing firm that has room to advance in one's career. The Construction Accountant will work alongside Accounting leaders and the owners invest in their employees.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $85k - $90k
Position Overview: As the Construction Accountant, you will oversee and handle all accounting-related activities with new construction projects being developed.
Responsibilities of the Construction Accountant: - Analyze all AP invoices
- Utilize your vast knowledge in and reviews all accounting-related to new construction projects
- Take charge of job costing as the Construction accountant
- Legal documents review
- Work in progress (WIP)
- Assist with journal entries and preparing financial statements
- Analyze financials - Insurance coverage management
- Assist with fixed assets and developments
- Assist with some bookkeeping and HR-related tasks
Qualifications for a Construction Accountant: - 5 years of Construction Accounting or Project Accounting experience
- Knowledge of Construction software
Education Requirements: - High school diploma is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred
