Job Description

Make Money and Travel the East Coast. Year round work available installing liner. No limit on overtime!

Chesapeake Containment Systems, Inc. (CCS) is a professional environmental construction company. We specialize in the Solid Waste, Power, and Industrial markets. Our job sites are nationwide, primarily on the East Coast. Our ideal candidate will travel and install liner.

WORK LOCATION: Traveling nationwide, primarily the East Coast.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Performing physical manual labor.
  • Filling and moving sandbags.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the work area, including picking up trash.
  • Deploying liner by placing geosynthetic materials on the ground using clamps, to pull the liner into place.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior construction experience. Liner experience is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and be away from home.
  • Ability to walk 5-10 miles per day, frequently up and down steep slopes.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently, throughout an entire workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, hot and cold.
  • Ability to pass a background check and regular drug tests.
  • Ability to maintain safety standards.

RESPONSABILIDADES

  • Realización de trabajos manuales físicos duros.
  • Llenado y movimiento bolsas de arena pesadas.
  • Limpiando y manteniendo el área de trabajo, incluyendo recoger basura.
  • Despliegue de revestimiento medioambiental, instalando los materiales geo sintéticos en el suelo utilizando pinzas, para colocar el revestimiento en su lugar.
  • Ayudar a otros con la soldadura básica y otras tareas del plástico.

REQUISITOS

  • Experiencia previa en construcción. La experiencia en el plástico es una ventaja.
  • Voluntad y capacidad para viajar y estar lejos de casa 100% del tiempo.
  • Capacidad para caminar 10-15 millas por día, con frecuencia arriba y abajo y en la pendiente.
  • Capacidad para levantar 75 libras con frecuencia, durante todo un día de trabajo.
  • Capacidad para trabajar al aire libre en condiciones climáticas extremas, calientes y frías.
  • Capacidad para pasar una verificación de antecedentes y pruebas regulares de drogas.
  • Capacidad para mantener los estándares de seguridad.
