Construction Project Manager
Washington, DC (onsite)
Potential to convert to perm
12+Month Contract

Client is seeking a self-starter Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in general contracting, to manage mechanical, plumbing, and electrical projects across a universitys 65 buildings. Must be capable of working independently with little oversight and flexible in handling issues to achieve project goals.

• Manage budget, schedule, procurement, quality, safety, and risk for projects.
• Communicate effectively with the client and present work confidently.
• Elevate and resolve issues promptly; adaptable and goal-driven.
• Ensure comprehensive follow-up and execution from project start to finish.
• Willing to work on weekends occasionally as required.

• Minimum 5 years in project management, with a preference for general contracting experience.
• Bachelors Degree in Project Management or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Adobe. Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred.
• Excellent communication, highly organized, self-motivated, and experienced in managing complex projects.
• Strong follow-up skills and experience in quality improvement or ground-up construction projects are nice to have.
