JOB SUMMARY
A privately held, multi-generational healthcare organization is activating a search for a high-impact Construction Project Manager to spearhead mission-critical facility expansion initiatives. This role demands a hands-on operator with deep domain fluency in healthcare facility development, pharmaceutical or clean-room environments, and end-to-end alignment with cGMP standards.
Operating in a fully on-site capacity in Plano, TX, this full-time role will own the construction lifecycle from pre-construction planning through commissioning while driving cross-functional alignment, mitigating operational risk, and ensuring delivery excellence in highly regulated environments.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive end-to-end oversight of healthcare, pharmaceutical, and clean-room construction initiatives, ensuring each phase from initial scoping to final commissioning delivers on performance, safety, and regulatory expectations.
- Champion adherence to cGMP and healthcare construction standards, embedding best-in-class compliance frameworks across all workflows and onsite execution.
- Engage cross-functional leaders, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendor partners to orchestrate seamless project delivery that optimizes cost, timeline, and operational outcomes.
- Facilitate coordination meetings and lead real-time onsite supervision, proactively mitigating field obstacles, scheduling risks, and supply chain disruptions before they impact project velocity.
- Maintain precise documentation, financial tracking, scheduling roadmaps, and quality-control checkpoints, ensuring all project data supports audit readiness and executive visibility.
- Serve as the strategic liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners, driving transparent communication and high-impact alignment across the full project lifecycle.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Regulatory-first mindset: Demonstrated fluency in cGMP frameworks and broader healthcare facility regulatory ecosystems is essential to drive risk-mitigated execution and audit-ready project readiness.
- Operationally embedded delivery model: Experience leading in-person, on-site project delivery is pivotal for maintaining real-time accountability, fostering cross-functional cohesion, and optimizing execution velocity.
- Leadership and communication excellence: The role requires a strong communicator with proven leadership presence who can align diverse stakeholders around outcome-driven milestones.
- Geographic anchoring: Candidates must be committed to an exclusively on-site operating model in Plano, TX to enable high-bandwidth collaboration and accelerated decision cycles.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidates must bring 5+ years of hands-on leadership managing construction initiatives within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clean-room environments to ensure seamless navigation of compliance-intensive buildouts.
- Healthcare experience.
