Job Description
As the Construction Site Supervisor you will oversee all onsite construction activities ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily onsite construction operations ensuring projects remain on schedule and meet quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate subcontractors materials and tasks to maintain smooth workflows.
- Develop and manage project schedules addressing any delays to meet deadlines.
- Monitor budgets implementing costeffective strategies while maintaining quality and safety.
- Enforce OSHA compliance and conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards.
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for stakeholders resolving issues and ensuring clear communication.
- Maintain precise records including daily logs progress updates and change orders using tools like Procore.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 510 years of construction management or site supervision with a preference for woodframe residential projects.
- Experience in historical restoration and redevelopment is highly preferred as this project involves restoring four historic buildings.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore Microsoft Project).
- Strong understanding of podium construction techniques materials and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes in Connecticut.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or a related field (preferred but not required).
Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational problemsolving and leadership abilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and onsite teams.
