Superintendent – Municipal & Commercial Projects

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Superintendent to oversee construction projects with a focus on municipal buildings , pre-engineered metal structures , and tilt-wall construction . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing car dealership projects and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage on-site construction activities from start to finish.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure project milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
- Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in tilt-wall construction .
- Proven experience with municipal projects or pre-engineered metal buildings .
- Car dealership construction experience strongly preferred .
- Commercial General Contractor (G.C.) experience required .
- Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with project management software.
- Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
