Location : Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi
Position : Part-time

Duties :

Lead the music for the Protestant Contemporary Worship Service, including selecting music, and developing worship service orders.
Direct and coordinate weekly rehearsals and Sunday services for the worship band, ensuring a contemporary worship style.
Recruit, train, and lead volunteers, including musicians and singers, to form a worship team.
Provide multi-media worship slides in ProPresenter format for congregational use.
Lead instrumental and vocal music performances during services and rehearsals, including additional services for special programs or holidays.
Collaborate with the Chaplain and other team members on planning and executing worship services.

Requirements :

Minimum of two years of experience leading Protestant worship services, preferably in a military setting.
Minimum of two years of experience directing, coordinating, and performing contemporary worship music.
Active membership and attendance at a Protestant church with a letter of endorsement from the current pastor or chaplain.
Ability to read and transpose music and lead a worship band.
Familiarity with or ability to use computer programs like Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ProPresenter.
