Dean's Professional Services is actively seeking a skilled Cook to join a hospital team in Caldwell, TX .

Position Overview:
The Cook is responsible for preparing, portioning, grilling, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events. This role is key in ensuring quality and satisfaction in patient, staff, and guest dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards
* Ensure quality, freshness, and proper presentation of all dishes
* Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation guidelines
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including kitchen equipment and utensils
* Support food service for patients, café dining, physician lounges, and catering events
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED - Required
* Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience - Required
* Valid Food Handler Certification - Required
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Details:
* Location: Caldwell, TX
* Shifts: Flexible; must be available to work assigned shifts as scheduled - no exceptions or negotiations
* Pay: Starting at $18+/hour (based on experience)
