Data Center Cable Installation Technician
(new Nvidia data center)
Duration: 40 days
Work Environment: 100% Onsite
Travel: Roundtrip Airfare, hotel, and per diem for food and ground transportation provided.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, Label, Bundle, Install, Terminate, and Test Data Center Cabling Systems: Handle various cabling tasks including preparation, labeling, bundling, installation, termination, and testing.
- Follow Detailed Installation Plans and Blueprints: Adhere to specific installation plans and blueprints for accurate cabling.
- Perform Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and necessary repairs on installed cabling systems.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Environment: Keep the work area clean and organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
Skills:
- Proficient in Cable Installation Techniques and Tools: Expertise in using the necessary tools and techniques for cable installation.
- Knowledge of Industry Standards and Safety Practices: Understanding of standard industry practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to Read and Interpret Technical Documents: Skill in interpreting technical documents, including installation plans and blueprints.
- Strong Manual Dexterity and Physical Stamina: Physical capability to handle the demands of the job, including manual tasks and stamina for the night shift.
- Team-Oriented and Reliable: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate reliability.
