CLOUD ENGINEER - DevSecOps

$180,000 + BENEFITS + BONUS
THE COMPANY
A leading private investment firm is expanding its cloud engineering team to enhance the security, scalability, and performance of its cloud infrastructure. With a portfolio of well-known consumer brands, this firm is investing heavily in cloud and DevSecOps best practices to drive operational excellence.
THE ROLE
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you’ll work across development, security, and operations teams to ensure the integrity and efficiency of cloud-based systems. This role offers the opportunity to shape cloud strategy, implement best practices, and build secure, scalable cloud environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining and implementing cloud-based deployment and security best practices.
- Automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
- Collaborating with security teams to ensure compliance and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Designing and managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Troubleshooting performance issues and enhancing system reliability.
- Staying ahead of emerging technologies to drive business value.
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software development
- Exstensive experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, HashiCorp Vault etc
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Asure)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and API management.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
Bonus points for:
- Cloud security certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, etc.).
- Experience in the financial services or private equity industry.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform.
