Direct Mail Production Manager

• Printing Industry experience
• Running inserters
• Manufacturing Industry experience
• Knowledge of Mailing equipment (Screen is a plus)
• Stay updated on USPS rules and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set goals for performance and deadlines.
• Using Continuous Improvement tools.
• Planning and implementation of productivity, equipment or process improvement efforts.
• Conduct Quality audits on products moving through-out the plant.
• Ensure labor tracking is timely and accurate.
• Provide training for plant staff.
• Ensure preventive maintenance programs.
• Revise or create secure workflows.
• Identify areas for time, material, and postage savings.
• Train Sales and Project Management staff in mailing procedures.
• Liaise with the Post Office.
• Implement and train on mailing processes to increase efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 plus years of Production Management experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Mailing equipment (Screen is a plus)
• Stay updated on USPS rules and regulations.
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
• Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
