Client with offices in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Director of Global Supply Chain for a direct hire position. This person reports to the COO and will work onsite in Los Angles with frequent travel to AZ, HI and other parts of CA. They will manage a 10-person team responsible for global supply chain, procurement, and demand planning. An important part of this role is experience working with "contract manufacturers."
Required:
-Demonstrated expertise in supply chain, logistics, demand strategy, and contract manufacturing.
-People management / leadership experience.
-Consumer packaged goods experience (perishable foods, pharmaceuticals, or skin care products).
Desired:
-10 plus years overall supply chain experience with five years in a leadership role.
-International experience, specifically Asia.
-Oracle ERP.
-Certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, CPIM.
