Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, to deliver freight efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various road conditions.

Duties

• Operate trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Transport freight to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Utilize manual transmission as required for specific vehicles.
• Assist in loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL).
• Experience driving refrigerated trailers is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with operating dump trucks and handling freight is a plus.
• Strong understanding of truck driving regulations and safety protocols.
• Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours as needed.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
