Description Wiggins Electric is seeking a motivated and dedicated Electrical Apprentice to join our team. As an Electrical Apprentice, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to learn the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in the electrical trade. This position offers hands-on training, exposure to a variety of electrical projects, and the opportunity for growth within our company.
Responsibilities •Assist journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
•Learn and apply electrical theory, codes, and regulations in daily tasks.
•Perform basic electrical tasks such as running wire, installing fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
•Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
•Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
•Attend training sessions and classes to further develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical field.
•Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work and meet project deadlines.
•Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Qualifications •High school diploma or equivalent.
•Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology.
•Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
•Physically capable of performing the duties of the job, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
•Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
•Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
