Job Opportunity: Journeyman Electrician (Industrial/Commercial)
Location: Red Oak, TX 75154
Duration: 3-month contract with possible extension
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to join a manufacturing team specializing in prefab modular data centers. This role involves electrical installations, integration, and assisting with start-up and commissioning processes within a factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations as part of prefab modular assembly.
- Support integration and start-up of modular data centers.
- Conduct repairs, maintenance, and QA inspections on industrial equipment.
- Interpret schematics and technical documents.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with all electrical codes and standards.
- Contribute to a culture of safety, including adherence to 5S, torque sheet protocols, and tool tracking.
- Work individually and within a team to complete project tasks.
Working Conditions:
- Factory environment – must follow all safety protocols.
- Physical requirements include: lifting up to 50 lbs, working on ladders, and standing/kneeling for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree, trade school certification, or completed apprenticeship program preferred.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Industrial or commercial electrical experience required (residential experience not applicable).
- Ability to read schematics and bend conduit; experience with large cable installation.
- Manufacturing experience is a major plus.
- Familiarity with 5S methodology is highly desirable.
