As an Entry Level Marketing Associate, you will play an instrumental role in learning the ins and outs of the nonprofit space, including running community and retail-based events and outreach campaigns. You will engage with the public, personalize your pitch, and educate them about our nonprofit partners, aiming to raise funds for their causes.
Responsibilities:
Educate the public about the nonprofit, its mission, and why it’s worthy of support
Contribute to meeting fundraising targets to support charitable endeavors
Manage on-site logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient event flow
Ensure all equipment, signage, and supplies are organized and readily available
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing information
Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner to create a positive brand experience
Collect feedback and insights to inform future event improvements
Disseminate promotional materials and encourage participation in brand-related activities
Track and report sales and donation data accurately
Collaborate with a team of driven and ambitious individuals
Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on event details and objectives
Teach, train, and develop others
High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience in customer service, sales, or event coordination is a plus but not required
Commitment to our mission of supporting charitable causes
Basic math skills for processing donations and tracking contributions
Organizational skills to manage donor information and fundraising materials
A valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation (required)
