Environmental Scientist / Geologist I, II, III

Location: Field/Office (Wheat Ridge, CO)

Full-Time | Hourly | On-Site & Field-Based

Pay Range: $34.00–$53.00/hr based on experience and level

Industry: Environmental Consulting, Oil & Gas

Experience Expectations: 1-8 Years *Transferrable

Scientist/Geologist I

1–3 years experience | $34.00–$38.50/hr

• Conduct field sampling (air, soil, groundwater, building materials)
• Support site assessments, permitting, and reporting
• Collaborate closely with senior staff and learn across disciplines
• Ideal for motivated early-career professionals

Scientist/Geologist II

2–5 years experience | $36.00–$44.00/hr

• Lead scopes within environmental projects
• Develop remedial strategies and site models
• Supervise contractors, review technical data, and draft reports
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary tasks

Scientist/Geologist III

4–8 years experience | $42.00–$53.00/hr

• Lead complex projects with strategic and technical oversight
• Manage design of remedial systems and coordinate cross-functional teams
• Apply advanced technical judgment and client interfacing skills
• Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor across the company

Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or related field
• Valid U.S. work authorization and driver’s license
