Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to support our acoustical ceiling and drywall projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with 2–10 years of experience, and a keen eye for detail. This role is critical to ensuring accurate bids, competitive pricing, and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for acoustical ceilings, drywall, and specialty installations.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and vendors to gather pricing and scope information.
• Participate in bid reviews and value engineering processes.
• Track and manage bid opportunities and maintain estimating database.
• Assist in developing project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2–10 years in construction estimating, preferably in acoustical ceilings and drywall.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, or similar).
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction practices is a plus.
