Private Practice Therapist

Virtual sessions/work from home: LCSW or LMHC licensed in MA

Private Group practice specializing in the treatment of Mood Disorders, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, OCD, adolescent and adult issues, and life transitions looking for a remote psychotherapist to take on  PER Diem/ Fee For Service therapist position.

• Deliver a variety of therapy modalities to a range of clients: children, adolescents, and adults of various ages with mental health, substance abuse, and life transition issues
• Choose the area of specialty that you would like to advertise and get more experience in, and receive referrals based on your area of expertise
• Keep comprehensive documentation and maintain clients files
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 clients per week
• Schedule your own appointments - no micromanaging of schedule
• Apply evidence based practices and be up to date with new modalities and trends in psychotherapy

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current MA State LCSW , LCSW-R or LMHC (limited permits, or LMSW licenses not applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of direct psychotherapy (counseling) experience using at least one of the following modalities: CBT, DBT, ERP, ACT, or Motivational interviewing
• Ability to manage stress/crisis situations with critical thinking skills
• Passion for mental health, and some type of unique reason for why you have chosen this as your career. Looking for individuals that see being a therapist as your calling, and not just a job that pays the bills.
• Ability to conduct virtual sessions , access to a computer
• Use of EMR via simple practice a plus
• Ability to fullfill self employment requirements (ie. paying personal taxes, maintaining malpractice insurance, putting aside savings for personal time/vacation time, paying advertisement fees - psychology today)
