Job Title: Field Service Technician

Location: Savannah, Georgia

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pay: Starting at $30/hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues on a variety of arborist and compact equipment both in our shop and in the field. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or alongside a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical system issues on industrial equipment
• Utilize multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify problems
• Perform general mechanical repairs, including engine troubleshooting
• Work both in-shop and off-site at customer locations
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with supervisors and clients

Requirements:

• Proven experience in equipment diagnostics and repair (hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical)
• Proficiency with multimeter and standard service tools
• Strong understanding of engines and mechanical systems
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must supply own tools
• Ability to work independently in the field without supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior field service experience
• Formal training or certification in automotive, diesel, or equipment repair
• Experience with machinery like Morbark brush chippers and stump grinders, Rayco stump cutters, Avant articulated loaders, Boxer mini skid steers, etc.
