Job Description
LHH has partnered with a construction company in McKinney, TX to hire an entry level Financial Analyst. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for financial operations. The analyst will work closely with the Controller, CFO and key departments to provide accurate and timely financial insights that support effective business decision-making.
This position is in office, business casual dress with a competitive salary range of $55-60K plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in job-level financial analysis including job cost tracking and profitability assessment
- Analyze and monitor cash flow, ensuring alignment with budgeting and forecasting objectives
- Support monthly end close activities, pulling and reviewing key financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Collaborate with leadership to update and maintain performance dashboards and financial models
- Maintain daily updates to key financial and operational data to support real-time decision-making
- Monitor labor costs and assist in calculating cost per job, including detailed labor breakdowns
- Oversee payroll tracking and reporting for compliance across active jobs
- Support time and attendance reviews in coordination with payroll processes to ensure labor data integrity
- Assist with financial reporting preparation including P&L statements, variance analysis, and ad hoc reports as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 0 years of experience is required, strong willingness to learn and grow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate across departments
