Essential Functions:
- Responsible for analyzing financial data and creating financial models for decision support
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Assist with the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Perform Ad Hoc analysis as assigned by CFO
Minimum Qualifications, both required and preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting OR 3 to 5 years in an FP&A position.
- 2+ years of banking or finance is preferred, and will lend to your success in this position.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will deal with peers and upper management throughout the organization.
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills, and the desire to continue learning and growing.
- Good problem-solving and critical thinking ability required.
- Experience in SAP is a plus, but not required.
