Title: Firmware Developer

Location: Onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio ( but must be in 50 miles of Cincinnati, OH or able to relo near there by day 1)

Duration: 12 months

Visa: NoH1B /NoCPT

Requirements:

* 7+ years of experience with development in C

* Experience with IoT development

* Experience developing embedded software

* Experience with firmware and device testing

* Ability to effectively debug complex problems with demonstrated success in creating ways to see inside the box

* Ability to read electronic schematics and understand hardware designs

* Experience in UDP protocol for managing device connections

* Experience in Thread protocol to manage network connections

Nice to Haves:

* Experience writing firmware for NRF52840 multisensor.

* Experience managing analog readings to Digital readings

* BS / MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar

Some other considerations:

* While the development could be made in house, there is an expectation of testing in/around a lab for integration and operationalization of the solution. These devices will operate in two modes:

1. Sending data on a schedule basis (configurable)

2. Receiving commands to a specific list of events (new version of the firmware, changes in schedule, activation, deactivation, etc) Current base code is about half way through in theory , but there is no clear status on how much it is actually completed or the exact list of features.
