Purpose: To dispatch, support, and manage the needs of the Bellavance driver.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound and inbound dispatching of 15+ drivers
Familiar with payroll audit in Driver Pay Audit and dispatch programs.
Coordinate driver’s schedules.
General knowledge of HOS.
Ability to quickly know where your drivers are located and what he/she is hauling.
Familiarity with the equipment we run.
Check on drivers at a minimum of 3 times per day.
Payroll
Proactively responsible for driver PTO when they take a day off (so payroll does not have to ask).
Responsible for detention pay entries.
Responsible for labor/additional pay submissions through the Google form.
Knowing how incorrectly positioned resources impact driver pay.
Ability to read freight bills to communicate load details to drivers.
Experience & Qualifications:
Highly proficient with computers and technology.
Communicate professionally to drivers and remain calm during highly stressful or difficult situations.
Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
Understand that change is inevitable; be a positive influence and have a can-do attitude.
Requirements: 7 to 4 or 8-5, Monday – Friday. Must be part of “on call” rotation and carry the laptop and phone.
